If you are interested in hiring us for a local event, please contact us with your requirements. As part of The Vikings, Manaraefan participate events ranging in size from several hundred members taking part in a full weekend of arena events culminating in a pitched battle and presenting a fully staffed, working tented encampment displaying crafts and everyday Dark Age life - to a single specialist exhibiting in a museum.

 

The Vikings have been organising displays for over 50 years and have an experienced events team which can work with you to plan and cost up your event, and put together a full program of events. We can recreate events from approximately 794AD - 1066AD and will incorporate local history into our displays wherever possible.

 

We will be very happy to help with all aspects of putting together the event, from planning the timetable to performing a comprehensive risk assessment and ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met. We are happy to liaise for you with other groups and societies if a multi-period or multi-society event is being planned.

 

We will also help with publicising your event through our website, Facebook page and social media accounts. Please contact us to start planning your show or media event, or to express interest in a school visit and we will help you put together a spectacular event.
